An elegant, spacious villa which has been carefully restored with great attention to detail by its current owners in a sumptuous yet comfortable Moroccan style. The house sits in established, well-tended gardens of 2.5 acres, with a large swimming pool, in a peaceful area, enjoying views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains - yet is just 20 minutes from the medina. The villa is comfortable in both winter and summer as it has reversible air conditioning in all rooms.
Accommodation
On the ground floor there is a large salon, with two seating areas, and a large, welcoming fire place. There is a separate dining room (seating up to 10), also with a fireplace, and a separate TV room. Fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also has an ensuite double bedroom, whilst upstairs there is the master bedroom and two twin bedrooms - all with ensuite bath / shower rooms and private balcony or terrace.
There's also a large roof terrace, with sofas and cushions for viewing the Atlas mountains.
Outside is a large terrace with a separate dining table and seating. In the gardens are several separate seating areas, organised to capture the best of the sun according to the time of day and the season, while the swimming pool (18m x 8m) also has a further seating area.
Facilities
Private swimming pool 18m x 8m, pool towels, outdoor shower. Indoor and outdoor dining tables. For entertainment, there's wifi (super-fast broadband), DVD player, TV. There's also table tennis.
Villa Rental Includes
The villa is fully staffed, with two gardeners/security (one of whom is on-site 24/7), a maid and a cook who can prepare fresh meals daily. The maids are able to babysit if required for an additional fee. We can organise an English & French speaking driver to pick you up at the airport and look after you for the duration of your holiday if you wish.
Breakfast is included, and the cook can prepare lunch and dinner for you (from 10 euros and 15 euros respectively, per person).
Neighbourhood
Numerous golf courses close by. Centre of Marrakech for the Medina about 20 minutes drive. Airport is also 20 minutes away.
Weather & Seasons
Marrakech is best avoided during the peak summer months of July and August - it's simply too hot! But for the rest of the year you can expect it to be warm and sunny. For example you can expect highs of 20°C in December and January, 25°C in March and 29°C in May and October.
