Activities & Experiences
For those who enjoy sport or want to maintain their fitness, there’s an extensive range of activities. Guests can swim in the 50m long infinity pool whilst enjoying the views of the Arabian Gulf, any of the three clear-water lagoon pools or head to the resort’s private beach. There's a well equipped gym, yoga studio, and floodlit tennis courts. Adjacent to the resort, there's numerous water sports and diving or snorkelling through the coral reefs of the Arabian Gulf can be arranged. The hotel can also organise interesting excursions, such as dune safaris, visits to the water park and city tours. There's also a regular shuttle service by Thai Long Tail boat between the hotel and Dubai marina.
Introduce the little ones to a world of creativity and imagination at the interactive Kids Club. Anantara’s younger guests are invited to make new friends with a range of interesting activities such as arts and crafts, painting and colouring, sand castle building, kayak relays and much more. The colourful Kids Club also includes a game room, television, play station as well as a large selection of toys.
For older children the resort has a Teens Club.
Spa & Wellness
Located on an island in one of the lagoon pools, the sumptuous Anantara Spa (open 10am–10pm) is an all-singing, all-dancing retreat. Its 18 treatment rooms offer Thai massage, salt inhalation and Ayurveda, a private hammam suite and couples’ facilities. Thalassotherapy fans are well catered for with a Vichy shower, liquid sound pool, Jacuzzi and Kneipp walk for lithe limbs.
The Spa also offers Signature Wellness Journeys that combine eastern and western wisdom with the latest technology and the personalised approach of health, fitness and wellbeing experts for optimum results. Each unique journey starts with a private Wellness Consultation by an Ayurvedic Doctor to ascertain your dosha types and any imbalances that need to be addressed. Programmes include detox, de-stress, weight loss, rejuvenation and balanced wellbeing and can be booked for 3, 5 or 7 nights.
There's a selection of dining options at Anantara The Palm, with breakfast served at the all day dining restaurant, where classic Middle Eastern dishes are offered alongside international cuisine. Enjoy flame grilled specialties or exotic Asian tastes. Delicious poolside refreshments and Mediterranean flavours are served in The Beach House with its gorgeous beachfront setting.
