Accommodation

A 12th century Castello at the heart of the property has 50 stunning rooms and suites, each with sleek interiors designed by celebrated designer Paola Navone; the contemporary COMO signature style beautifully complements the stately building’s historic architecture. Each of the rooms and suites are individually adorned and decorated to ensure that, not only the most is made of each space, but all feel intimate and personal. Cool, clean and contemporary detailing combines beautifully with the spacious period rooms. Many come with wonderfully ornate frescoes or beamed ceilings, antique fourposter beds or vintage rolltop tubs in mosaic-tiled bathrooms.

The spa’s facilities include a sauna, aromatic steam room, a 25m-long heated outdoor pool (seasonal), gym area and a heated vitality pool. After indulging in a facial, massage or other therapy, take yourself to the relaxation area for simply unforgettable views over Tuscany’s rolling hillsides and greenery.

The estate’s grounds are as spectacular as the polished interiors, with its own kitchen garden, where much of its produce is showcased on the menu at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant La Torre. Guests can also savour Mediterranean flavours at La Taverna, in the castle’s original kitchen, or al fresco at Pavilion.
