Set in the peaceful and prestigious area of El Majal, Villa Jacaranda comprises two large houses and a large swimming pool, all surrounded by 7 acres (3 hectares) of beautifully tended private gardens. With magnificent views of the Atlas Mountains (yet just 20 minutes from the medina in Marrakech) and elegantly decorated throughout, this fully staffed and catered villa is a fabulous option for a large group of friends or an extended family holiday.
Accommodation
Villa Jacaranda is actually two separate villas, both similarly styled and both sumptuous and luxurious.
Villa One has 4 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom (all bedrooms are ensuite), and can accommodate up to 10 people (8 adults and 2 children). The villa also has a spacious living room and a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV lounge.
Villa Two has 5 double rooms and a children's room (comprising 2 bunk beds and a single bed, off one of the double bedrooms), which can accommodate up to 13 people (10 adults and 3 children). All bedrooms are ensuite except the children's room. Plus there's a large living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a TV lounge.
The gardens are superb and extend over 3 hectares (7 acres). The outdoor spaces are well appointed, with several terraces offering views of either the Palmeraie or Atlas Mountains (or both), several outdoor dining areas (including a magnificent roof terrace).
Facilities
Private swimming pool 20m x 6m, pool towels, pool house with shower, petanque court, table tennis and a tennis court (shared). Indoor and outdoor dining options. For entertainment, there's wifi, TV lounge, DVD player and library, stereo system.
Villa Rental Includes
The fully staffed villa includes air-conditioning/heating, a chef and waiting service for all meals (guests just pay for food and drinks when the staff return from shopping), daily housekeeping, fires in living spaces and bedrooms will be lit for you whenever requested.
The villa team consists of two butlers, an excellent cook, two maids and a night watchman.
Neighbourhood
Numerous golf courses close by. Centre of Marrakech for the Medina about 20 minutes drive.
Weather & Seasons
Marrakech is best avoided during the peak summer months of July and August - it's simply too hot! But for the rest of the year you can expect it to be warm and sunny. For example you can expect highs of 20°C in December and January, 25°C in March and 29°C in May and October.
