Dating back to the 17th-century, Villa Letizia can now be your holiday home in Tuscany. Extensively renovated throughout, it has a modern feel, yet retains its sense of an epic sweep of history. Above all, it is a place of absolute tranquillity and beauty. Outside you can immerse yourself in the splendour of western Tuscany. Roam through the scented Italian and rose gardens, or sip fresh cocktails beside the swimming pool. Whether travelling as a family or a group of friends, the Villa Letizia is sure to cast a spell. Just 11km from the beautiful ancient walled town of Lucca.
Accommodation
The ground floor opens into a spacious living room and a formal dining room with traditional beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. There's a professionally equipped kitchen and two guest bathrooms, as well as a convenient elevator leading to the upper floors.
Upstairs, eleven air-conditioned en suite bedrooms are spread luxuriantly across two floors. The villa's rooming arrangements ensure flexible accommodation should it be desired: a suite and a double bedroom are connected, suitable for families, while all double beds can be separated into twins. On the second floor, as well as another defined living area, there are two smaller bedrooms with a shared bathroom, perfect for children in your party.
Facilities
Large private swimming pool (14m x 6m), pool towels, sun loungers, al fresco dining, BBQ, pizza oven. Fully equipped kitchen. For entertainment there's wifi, Satellite TV, petanque court, table tennis, pool/billiards table. Villa essentials include bathrobes, slippers and toiletries for all bedrooms, washing machine and tumble dryer, safe. Air-conditioning. EV charging station.
Villa Rental Includes
Welcome buffet, continental breakfast daily, maid service four hours daily (except Sundays)
Wireless broadband internet. Please be advised that due to the rural location of the property the internet connection might be intermittent and at an inferior speed than what you are used to.
Cost of utilities (water, gas and electricity).
Arrival set of bed linen, bath and pool towels. Towels are changed once during the week.
Final cleaning.

Please note: The owners live on the lower and ground floor of the villa, in a separate section. They have their own independent entrance and will not use the garden or pool area but are available in case of emergencies.

Weather & Seasons
The climate in Tusacany is generally warm, sunny and dry from April/May to October. By June the weather settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August with highs of up to 32C.
