Striking 1970’s villa set in beautifully kept lawned gardens of just under an acre, in a peaceful setting near Trapani, a historic town at the most westerly point of Sicily. From the gardens and swimming pool there are extraordinary panoramic views over the land bordering the villa out to sea, across to the Egadi islands. The villa has numerous spaces for guests to relax around the pool and a shaded terrace adjacent to the gardens with comfortable soft seating and a shaded dining area.
Enjoying lovely sunset views, the villa is set on the edge of Trapani's saltpans, where salt has been extracted for many centuries. This is also a resting place for many birds, particularly flamingos, on migration from and to Africa. Villa del Sale is in easy walking distance of a restaurant and the sea shore, and only a short drive away from the beach of Marausa Lido and the historic towns of Trapani and Marsala

Facilities
Private swimming pool 12m x 6m (1.2m to 1.4m deep), pool towels, outdoor shower, hydro-massage corner, sun loungers, BBQ, outdoor comfy seating and al fresco dining options. Kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster. For entertainment, there's wifi, two satellite TVs and a stereo. Air-conditioned throughout. Villa essentials include hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine. There's also a cot and high chair, plus a small wine cellar with selection of wines (payable locally).
Villa Rental Includes
Maid service and linen change, on change over day. Cook servive available on request.
Electricity is included up to 400 kWh per week, adequate for normal use. The meter is read together with guests at the beginning and end of the rental. Extra electricity usage is 0.40 Euro per Kwh unit payable locally.
