Set in 175 acres of peaceful woodlands, gardens and little lakes, this beautiful and luxurious villa in the Dordogne has far reaching countryside views and is very well equipped for a wonderful villa holiday.

Accommodation

Beautifully restored with a fabulous mix of country romance and contemporary chic, the property comprises an 18th century Maison de Maître (main house) and a 19th century Hunting Lodge. With exposed stone, soft white décor and elegant furnishings, each building has 4 bedrooms, in a family-friendly mix of twin, double and bunk beds; six of the 8 bedrooms have en suite facilities, whilst the remaining two rooms sharing a bathroom and the privacy of their own wing.

The Hunting Lodge has an attractive sitting room and dining kitchen, but the the Maison de Maître has ample social space for the everyone, with a stylish breakfast kitchen, dining room, drawing room and snug. Plus a large terrace furnished for al fresco dining and comfortable seating.

For entertainment, there's a music system with Bluetooth connection for iPod/iPhone, spare Bose docking system for use in any room, wifi, Satellite TV (UK channels), DVD player.

Villa Rental Includes

Maid service 4 hours per day 3 day(s) per week, simple meal provided for arrival, pool heating from mid-May to mid-September.

Cook service is available on request, subject to availability at an additional cost (payable locally) and needs to be booked well in advance.

Weather & Seasons

With moderate winters and summers, the Dordogne is a wonderful place to visit in the Spring, Summer and Autumn. Spring and summer are especially lovely because of the beauty that these seasons bestow upon the French countryside, however, the Autumn months make travel and site seeing very doable - even with the occasional drizzle and chillier conditions in the evenings as the end of the Autumn draws in.
