Gorgeous, peaceful villa is surrounded by meadows and olive groves, and cleverly combines traditional Puglian stone-built architecture with international and contemporary interior décor. Outside, the 'beach' pool has a lovely shaded lounge with daybeds and hammocks, and an adjoining al fresco dining area with an outdoor kitchen and built-in barbecue. Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area are set under a traditional barrel-vaulted stone roof, and have direct access to outdoor spaces. All three bedrooms mix traditional and contemporary style with Indian fabrics and Italian art; the two double bedrooms have access to the pool area, one of them with an en suite shower room, and the other shares a bathroom which contains a classic Roman style stone bath with the twin bedroom.

Weather & Seasons

The climate in Puglia is generally warm sunny and dry in April/May and again in October with the risk of the odd shower of rain. Sometimes it can be cool in the evenings. By June the weather settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can get a bit humid. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. June and September are particularly pleasurable months.
