Amantika Lodge, Amantani Island, Lake Titicaca, Peru

Remote yet luxurious private lodge on an island in Lake Titicaca

Only available as part of your tailor-made holiday itinerary in Peru

Luxurious and remote, Amantika Lodge sits on the small island of Amantani, within the vast high-altitude Lake Titicaca, bordering Peru and Ecuador. The Lodge, available for exclusive use, has been designed to maximise the awe-inspiring panoramas over the calm waters to the Peruvian mountains beyond. Throughout your stay, you’ll get to explore the lake and the island, meeting your neighbours and learning the local history.

Comprising just two exquisite suites, you can enjoy exclusive use of the property. The spectacular interiors mark this retreat out as exceptional. Natural stone with pebble-made feature walls combines with charming pale timber to create the most relaxing environment imaginable. Stylish furniture and beds raised on stone bring a touch of sophistication. The atmosphere is completed by huge floor-to-ceiling windows which fill your living spaces with light and provide picture-perfect vistas at every turn. Sit back and unwind in a Jacuzzi carved into the rock or step out on to your deck to marvel at the stars.

Activities & Experiences

Private excursions and activities are included and are tailored to guests interests. These might include a visit to the floating island of Uros, trekking to Pachatata, an excursion to the archaeological site of Sullustani, learning the ancient practice of reading coca leaves, or enjoying a cookery lesson.

Facilities & Services

Guests have exclusive use of this luxury yet rustic property and all meals are prepared by a private chef. You will enjoy a huge range of regional and contemporary dishes. Local ingredients and perfectly paired wines make every dining experience here unforgettable.
