Titilaka is a luxurious all suite lodge and the most comfortable hotel beside the lake, set on a secluded private peninsula on the shores of Peru's famous Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake which is surrounded by breathtaking Andean scenery. Titilaka is a luxurious refuge from which to explore the national, cultural and historical treasures of this remote and mystical region.


This remote, boutique lakeside hideaway has 18 fully serviced suites with magnificent views of the lake, featuring under floor heating, iPods, portable oxygen tanks and excellent bathrooms with oversized bathtubs and massage showers. Contemporary lines and earthy colours reflect the peaceful and simple life of the surrounding area.

Activities & Experiences

Titilaka offers a variety of excursions, such as a day exploring the floating islands of Uros and the island of Taquile on Lake Titicaca. Accompanied by a guide from Titilaka, you'll meet local communities and learn about traditional crafts. Other activities at the Titilaka hotel include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, birdwatching and boat trips across the lake. The hotel's boathouse is equipped

with canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and sailboats.

The restaurant serves contemporary Peruvian dishes using fresh local ingredients, and other facilities include four acres of grounds and two beaches, wrap-around terraces, an over-water deck and boardwalks, a fully equipped media and reading room, and a small jetty or landing dock. The hotel offers a wide range of guided excursions (hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and sailing).

Weather & Seasons

Temperatures around Lake Titicaca vary widely from day to night. The best time to visit the region is from May to October, when days are sunny, rain showers infrequent and daytime temperatures can reach 25°C. However, overnight temperatures plunge to nearly freezing. 

Getting Here

The nearest airport to Lake Titicaca is in Juliaca, which is a half hour flight from Cuzco or 80 minutes from Lima. Titilaka is a 90 minute transfer from Juliaca.
