Accommodation

There are just over 100 rooms and suites, many with views towards the bay, the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia whilst the remaining rooms have views over the mountains and valleys in the opposite direction. All rooms and suites are contemporary in design and complete with modern technologies to ensure a comfortable stay.

Activities & Experiences

Arakur was designed to allow guests to make the most of the outdoors with plenty of spectacular forest and mountain hiking trails on its doorstep. Visitors can also enjoy wildlife viewing in the Reserva Natural Cerro Alarkén, visits to the Andorra Valley, Vinciguerra Glacier and Iceberg Lagoon.

Facilities at Arakur include a gym and a wonderful indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs - with stunning views. There are two bars and an excellent restaurant serving up delicious specialties from Tierra del Fuego as well as other Argentine and international dishes. If you’re feeling lucky, try your hand in the hotel's casino. A shuttle service can transport guests down to Ushuaia for further dining options.

October to April is generally regarded as the best time to visit, but Autumn (April / May) is often blessed by extraordinary leaf colours, and prices are usually lower at this time.
