Activities & Experiences

There are a host of activities including kayaking and jet skiing on the lake and bikes to hire, and there's a vast sandy beach just a 5 minute walk away. There's a multi-function court which offers tennis, football and basketball. There are two kid’s clubs: one looking after those from four months up to four years and the second taking care of those aged four to 12.

Three outdoor pools include one heated and one dedicated to children, as well as the sand-lined swimming pool with a sandy 'beach'. There's a yoga platform in the pavilion by the lake, and also a personal trainer on site for one-to-one classes. The gym open 24/7 and the spa is excellently equipped with indoor pool, Roman baths, sauna, Vichy shower and more.

There is a wide range of dining options: the gastronomic high point, Makris, floats on the lake; main restaurant Gustatio, which delivers Portuguese cuisine with a Mediterranean accent. The Algarve has a mild climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year. By June the weather generally settles into a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August. And September is lovely too. March, April and October are very pleasant
