Set within a protected national park, beside the fishing village of Sagres on the western edge of the Algarve, with numerous wonderful sandy beaches in the vicinity, this excellent resort is a superb choice for a family summer holiday.

Accommodation

Martinhal Beach Resort is located overlooking the beach and all rooms have partial or full sea views from a terrace or balcony. The hotel has 36 terrace and beach rooms - all light, airy and with contemporary styling. The Village is great for more independent couples and friends that prefer more space and a home from home experience. It's located in the centre of the resort with modern Townhouses offering one, two and three-bedroom accommodation. Alternatively, the luxury Villas are set in the western area of the resort and provide sea views and private landscaped gardens. Villas are all contemporary and range from 2 to 5 bedrooms, such as 4 bedroom Villa Martinhal

Activities & Experiences

The resort is home to five swimming pools (four of which are heated), with the Beach Club Pool served by its own bar while you lie back on a sun lounger or giant beanbag. For the active, there is a tennis and sports club, a gym and a wide variety of water sports. To help you unwind head to the spa for relaxation, pampering and indulgence, or have a mini-spa session at the Beach Club Pool.

Facilities & Services

There are three restaurants - fresh seafood, fine dining or family-friendly - and if you are feeling lazy you can take advantage of the home delivery service. Children's menus are available, as well as early dining.

Weather & Seasons

The Algarve has a mild climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year. By June the weather generally settles into a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August. And September is lovely too. March, April and October are very pleasant.
