A beautiful and traditional chalet style boutique 5* hotel, the Alpaga has a magnificent position overlooking the glitzy village of Megève. With panoramic views of Mont Blanc and modern Alpine charm, this is one of the resort's chicest hotels. Service is attentive and discreet, yet welcoming, making the Alpaga a haven to return to after a day on the slopes. An efficient courtesy driver service is on hand to take guests to the slopes and into the village and back. The concierge can organise anything guests would like to do, and has an extensive knowledge of the local area. 

Accommodation

The Alpaga has 23 rooms, 4 suite apartments and 6 chalets. All are chic and contemporary, with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Furnished with cashmere throws and rugs and featuring natural woods and stone, the rooms offer the comforts of a traditional chalet. All the rooms have flat screen TV, WiFi, iPod dock and safe along with dark stone bathrooms which have a basin set atop a stone cabinet, shower,

bath and Hermès bath products.

The Chalets are set out on three floors offering amazing views of Mont Blanc, a large lounge with fireplace, fitted kitchen and dining room and plenty of bathrooms.

Activities & Experiences

During winter months it's all about skiing, log fires, spa treatments and fine dining. During summer months, guests can enjoy the dramatic landscape on foot and choose from numerous hiking and mountain biking trails. Guides are available. 

Facilities & Services

The Alpaga is a luxurious mountain hideaway with beautiful facilities and a high staff to guest ratio. There is a fine dining restaurant serving delicious French cuisine, comfortable living areas, a bar, and a beautiful spa and wellness centre. Skis can be hired through the concierge and there is a courtesy shuttle service to take guests to and from the slopes and village centre (08.00 to 23.00).

Weather & Seasons

Megève has a typically Alpine climate, with low temperatures (often sub-zero) between December and March and then warming up. Its proximity to Mont Blanc has a benign influence on its climate, guaranteeing more snow than in resorts of a similar altitude. 

Getting Here

There are numerous daily flights to Geneva International Airport.  We will arrange for the appropriate transportation to meet you and take you to the hotel, 40 miles away (under an hour).
