W Hotel Verbier

Verbier's only 5 star ski in/ski out hotel

7 nights from £2,400pp sharing (low season), including flights and transfers; around £4,000 high season

The highly acclaimed W Brand brings a whole new level of stylish accommodation to the world-class ski resort of Verbier. The styling is metropolitan chic meets Alpine tradition with a clever fusion of highly polished black surfaces, splashes of colour, local wood and acres of glass. The fact that the piste has been extended to end right in front of the hotel, making it the first ski in/ski out hotel in Verbier, sets the bar for the kind of

outstanding experience you will enjoy at this funky hotel.

Accommodation

W Hotel Verbier has 123 rooms and suites, all featuring the Signature W bed, a fireplace and balcony. The en-suite bathrooms are luxurious and spacious, stocked with Bliss toiletries.  All rooms also have Nespresso coffee machine, 44" flat-screen television, iPod docking station with Bose sound system, bathrobes and slippers; Munchie Box (mini bar), individual climate control, in-room safe and high-speed internet access (wired and wireless).  Some rooms can interconnect giving more options for families.

Activities & Experiences

During winter months it's all about skiing, log fires, gazing at the stars, spa treatments and fine dining. Verbier is certainly up there when it comes to being one of the most famous, fabulous and glamorous ski resorts in the world, with options for hotshot skiers and snowboarders,  while beginners and intermediates will also find slopes suited to their level. Other activities on the snow include

cross-country skiing, ski touring, winter paragliding and sledging.

During summer months, guests can enjoy the dramatic landscape on foot and choose from numerous hiking and mountain biking trails.  Guides are available.

Facilities & Services

There is no shortage of choice of restaurants and bars at W Hotel Verbier, with 6 all under one roof.  Choose from Arola serving Spanish cuisine with Swiss influences, with incredible views of the mountains or a tapas bar serving local products from the Valais. Every option is covered from the W Café to the Living Room serving an eclectic mix of drinks and snacks. Carve is where things rev up after dark.

After a day on the slopes, we recommend a restorative visit to the Away Spa at W Hotel Verbier. Spacious and beautifully designed, it has sauna, hammam, and an indoor / outdoor pool. A wide range of beauty treatments, massages and aromatherapy awaits you.

Weather & Seasons

The ski season in Verbier starts in early December and extends through into early May. Whilst the resort itself lies at 1500m, two gondola rides and you are at 2,700m with lots of high altitude skiing which is why there is skiing late into the season.

During the summer months of July and August you can expect highs of 27°C.
