One such is the setting for Villa Kokkini, a charming, tranquil and spacious rustic cottage, surrounded by its own sun-soaked vineyards, and subtly enhanced by contemporary facilities including air conditioning. This delightful property is perfect as a family villa for four, but a wonderfully romantic hideaway if chosen just for two.
Accommodation
The kitchen is open-plan to a comfortable and characterful sitting/dining room, with a fireplace. Also on the ground floor there's a twin bedroom and a shower room. The master bedroom suite occupies the floor above, with gorgeous views from its private balcony. Outside, a beautiful stone terrace is furnished for al fresco dining and shaded beneath a vine-cloaked pergola, and comfy seating circles a fire pit - all with sea views. The inviting 9m infinity pool is sunk into a sunny terrace with views over the treetops to the sea beyond.
Facilities
Private swimming pool 9m x 4m (0.7m to 1.9m deep), pool towels, BBQ, shaded al fresco dining and comfy seating spaces, fire pit.
Kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine. For entertainment, there's wifi, TV, Sky TV package, CD and DVD player, iPod dock. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and hair dryers.

Welcome provisions, maid service for 2 hours on 3 days per week, and a mid-week linen change.
Neighbourhood
Set in great hiking territory, the hillsides around the cottage are threaded with tracks to abandoned villages and amazing views. There are shops in Sinies, 2km away, and 5km from restaurants, bars, supermarkets and nightlife in Kassiopi. It's 6km to the shops, restaurants and bars of St Stephano and 6.5km to the beach bar, tavernas and water sports of Avlaki.

Best from May to September, and hottest in July and August with daytime high temperatures around 30°C.
