Malliouhana, Anguilla, Caribbean
Exceptional boutique beach resort hotel
7 nights from around £2,500pp including breakfast, water sports, yoga, flights and private transfers
Malliouhana has long been one of Anguilla's best hotels, and its recent $80 million renovation has brought it back to its heyday in spectacular fashion. From its privileged setting on some of the islands best beaches (the golden arc of Meads Bay or the intimate inlet at Turtle Cove), to its slick yet pared-back design, Malliouhana once again impresses at every turn. This luxury boutique resort hotel has an open-air, modern and contemporary feel whilst retaining the charm you would expect from a first class Caribbean hideaway.
Accommodation
Malliouhana has 44 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, many with Caribbean views. All are spacious with large private terraces, oversized bathrooms, plush robes, luxury linen, down bedding and pillow menus. Custom-blended organic bath and body products are placed in all the bathrooms. All rooms have flatscreen TV, complimentary wifi, bottled water which is replenished twice daily, welcome mini-bar refreshments and Nespresso machines.
Activities & Experiences
Guests at Malliouhana enjoy complimentary non-motorised water sports such as sunfish and hobiecat sailing, snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding. Fitness and yoga classes are also complimentary. Other activities to keep you occupied include horseback riding, complimentary bike hire, guided island tours, sunset cruises and deep sea fishing. If you're a golfer, the nearby Greg Norman designed 18 hole course has breathtaking views over St Marten.
Facilities & Services
Facilities include 2 freshwater swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, the fabulous Auberge spa, fitness centre, yoga deck, and a sunset cocktail bar. The restaurant at Malliouhana has an excellent reputation with a variety of the freshest Mediterranean inspired seafood.
Weather & Seasons
The best time to visit Anguilla runs from December to April (peak season), when the temperatures are a bit lower and outside of the hurricane season. Most popular months are February and March, which are the driest.
