Anguilla

There are a handful of outstanding hotels on the island, and Malliouhana is one of our favourites. Its recent $80 million renovation has brought it back to its heyday in spectacular fashion. From its privileged setting on some of the islands best beaches (the golden arc of Meads Bay or the intimate inlet at Turtle Cove), to its slick yet pared-back design, Malliouhana once again impresses at every turn. This luxury boutique resort hotel has an open-air, modern and contemporary feel whilst retaining the charm you would expect from a first class Caribbean hideaway. Guests enjoy complimentary yoga and fitness classes, and complimentary non-motorised water sports. Visit Malliouhana

Antigua

Antigua has half a dozen excellent beach hotels, but our perennially most popular option is Carlisle Bay - a luxury 5* family friendly resort set on a dazzling, white sand beach in a secluded bay, against a backdrop of hills and rainforest. The suites are spacious and luxurious: from the couples-only Garden and Ocean Suites to the family-friendly Beach and Carlisle Suites. All have cool, calm contemporary interiors and a terrace or balcony with stunning Caribbean views. Even though it's a fairly boutique resort, Carlisle Bay has an impressive array of activities on offer for guests of all ages and interests. Have a look at Carlisle Bay

Bahamas

Perhaps the best known hotel in the Bahamas is The Ocean Club on Paradise Island, offering world-class luxury combined with excellent service, and a comprehensive array of facilities for both couples and families. Made famous by 007 in Casino Royale, this boutique resort has a range of spacious, contemporary rooms and suites, cottages, and half a dozen fabulous beachfront villas with private pools. For golfers, the Tom Weiskopf designed Ocean Course is a must, and elsewhere there's yoga, pilates, tennis, fitness training and water sports. And, of course, a wonderful spa. Visit The Ocean Club

Barbados

With lots of direct flights and an abundance of oustanding boutique hotels and an array of exceptional villas, it's hardly surprising that Barbados is such a popular destination. For the full low-down, please have a look at Best Barbados Boutique Hotels and Luxury Villas.

Bequia

Bequia is the second largest of the Grenadine Islands, yet is still only 7 square miles. It's one of the Caribbean's less frequented islands and is home to a boutique jewel: Bequia Beach Hotel. Set on glorious Friendship Beach, this luxury hideaway is understated and oozes Caribbean colonial charm - and is a fabulous choice for couples and honeymooners. The island is reached by a short hop from either St Lucia or Barbados aboard Bequia Air. Explore Bequia Beach Hotel

Grenadines

One of our favourite hideaways in the Grenadines is a magical private Caribbean island that perfectly balances wilderness and luxury. This fabulous 115 acre island hideaway is circled by two miles of sandy beaches, with just 22 luxury cottages built of native stone and wood, discreetly scattered over hillsides, cliffs and beaches for maximum privacy and each one has stunning views of Petit St Vincent and the southern Grenadines. This spectacular island is a luxury escape of idyllic perfection and peaceful seclusion. Come and unplug from today's busy world. Discover Petit St Vincent

Jamaica

Our top recommendation for a sophisticated, romantic getaway in Jamaica is the aptly named Jamaica Inn. An elegant boutique adult-only hotel on the island's north coast, set in a peaceful cove with a lovely private beach. It's perennially popular with our clients. With all suites overlooking the beach or sea - many located directly on the water - this is the place to recline in bed and be cooled by the sea breezes filtering through the louvred shutters, or relax on your veranda's sofa and listen to the gently breaking waves. One Bedroom Cottages are perfect romantic hideaways. Jamaica Inn was recently named as one of the Top 16 Most Romantic Places to Stay in the World by Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

MustiquePjh-113.jpg

Mustique, in the heart of the Grenadines, is one of the most exclusive private islands in the Caribbean, just three and a half by one and a half miles, with nine superb beaches. Cotton House is the only hotel on the island and is one of the Caribbean's most charming and romantic boutique hideaways. With just 17 luxurious rooms, suites and traditional cottages set in the gardens surrounding the Great House. Explore Cotton House

Vita Brevis also has access to all of the luxury villas on Mustique available to rent.

Riviera Maya

Yearning for some sunshine and warm, turquoise Caribbean sea? If so, the beautiful Mayan Riviera should definitely be on your list of options. Located on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula - away from the big hotels - Viceroy Riviera Maya is one of our top recommendations: a luxurious adult-only resort set amongst tropical jungle overlooking miles of secluded white sand beaches. Similarly, Hotel Esencia is on a spectacular private beach in its own 50 acres of verdant jungle, this elegant boutique hideaway works well for both couples and families. For a hip and ultra-stylish beach retreat, head further south to Be Tulum.

St Kitts and Nevis

For great value and service for couples looking for a laid-back boutique hideaway, Montpelier Plantation & Beach is hard to beat. Family run with attentive service, this former sugar plantation prides itself on its cuisine and is the perfect place for couples to relax. Montpelier Plantation was restored from an 18th century sugar plantation and set in a 60-acre estate 750 feet up in the lush hills of Nevis, the small boutique hotel has 19 rooms, all with sea views and the beach is a short ride away. Have a look around Montpelier Plantation & Beach

St Lucia

Our three most popular hotels on St Lucia are all very different. The most sophisticated of the three is the exceptional Sugar Beach, enjoying a spectacular position on a hillside between the two famous Piton mountains (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), surrounded by over 100 acres of lush tropical gardens and set on a magnificent crescent of white sand beach. For those seeking an upmarket bagain, Cap Maison is an elegant hacienda style boutique hideaway perched above the gorgeous Smuggler's Cove beach. Meanwhile, the all-inclusive BodyHoliday is perfect for singles and couples who want to have fun and get into shape.

parrot-cay-special-offer

One of the most exclusive private island sanctuaries in the Caribbean, COMO Parrot Cay offers a thousand acres of pure escapism, accessible only by speedboat.
