Mykonos Grand, Greece
Enjoy beachfront paradise, a rare luxury on the island of Mykonos
7 nights from £1,050pp sharing, including breakfast, flights and transfers
Set on Agios Ioannis beach facing the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of Apollo, Mykonos Grand Hotel and Resort has a superb location just a short distance from Mykonos town. This stylish and restful enclave has a wonderfully pampering spa, a beautiful pool and a spectacular outdoor amphitheatre for social events and exercise classes.
Accommodation
Scattered across five acres to provide space and privacy, the generously-sized rooms and suites are decorated in bright white with splashes of blue, orange or beige. Flowing white drapes create a canopy above the beds and in front of the windows, most of which have wonderful views of the sea. There are 95 rooms, suites and villas to choose from, some with private pools or open-air Jacuzzis.
Activities & Experiences
If you can tear yourself away from the pool and the beautiful views, it's a 10 minute (complimentary) shuttle to Mykonos town where the shopping and nightlife on offer are abundant. Enjoy a cocktail in Little Venice or wander the ancient streets that once fortified the island against pirates but are now home to designer boutiques and foodie hangouts. In resort, there's a fitness room and a squash court.
The hotel can arrange a host of different trips, as well as recommending great places to eat, drink or visit.
Guests should not miss the chance of being pampered in the highly regarded spa.
Facilities & Services
Located in a peaceful and unspoiled setting, this gorgeous hotel evokes an ambience of relaxed luxury where you can soak up the sun rays by the pool or head down to the beach which is void of any water sports to disturb the serenity of this special little corner of Mykonos.
The Nama Restaurant offers fine Greek cuisine with delectable wines and breathtaking views across the Aegean Sea towards the sacred island of Delos. There is also a Wine Cellar with a wide range of excellent Greek and international wines. The restaurant uses the freshest ingredients, including herbs grown in the hotel garden and local seafood. There are also two bars and drinks are served around the pool too.

The Althea Spa Retreat will help you relax further with a selection of treatments from face and body rituals, Mykonian Sea Scrubs and hydrotherapy treatments. The more active can work out at the hotel’s fitness centre or enjoy a game of tennis or squash.
The evenings are of elegant sophistication with pre-dinner drinks at the pool deck while watching the sunset or at the intimate Bolla Bar followed by open-air dining at the opulent Nama Restaurant.
Weather & Seasons
Mykonos is a summer destination, and hotels only operate between late April to late October. The warmest months are July and August when the beaches and towns are more crowded. June and September are ideal as the island's quieter but temperatures are still high.
Getting Here
It's a 4 hour direct flight to Mykonos from London, followed by a 15 minute transfer. Alternatively, there's a regular shuttle service to the island from Athens. Maybe combine with a stay at The Margi on the Athenian Riviera?
