Enjoy a private guided tour of Cuzco and venture nearby for more fascinating private guided tours, such as to the local village of Chinchero renowned for its archaeological site and colourful market (best on Sunday), the Inca terraces of Moray and the astounding salt pans of Maras. We would also recommend a wonderful full day private excursion to the village of Pisac, home to a colourful Indian market and Inca ruins in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch in Urubamba, followed by a visit to the impressive Inca town and fortress of Ollantaytambo. We can tailor the perfect Cuzco stay for you. Back at the hotel, recover from your sightseeing with a restorative massage and perhaps enjoy enjoy a cookery class and learn all about delicious local ingredients by visiting a local market in Cuzco and join a bespoke cooking class.
From Cuzco, you can also start your adventure to Machu Picchu, criss-crossing your way through Incan ruins on the world-famous Inca Trail.

The hotel's Hypnôze Spa has developed its own brand of treatments to improve physical, mental and emotional well being. Organic products made from Peruvian ingredients are used to help achieve this goal. Some of the treatment rooms have glass floors exposing
the Inca Wall underneath - a magical experience.
Guests at Palacio Nazarenas may dine next door at its sister property, the Belmond Monasterio, and have this added to their room bill.
Weather & Seasons
Cuzco’s location and altitude result in only two seasons: rainy and dry. The rainy season typically lasts from November to March, with the heaviest rains arriving in January and February. The best time to visit Cuzco and the surrounding area is during April-October.
Most people reach Cuzco as part of a wider Peru or Latin America tour, which our travel experts have tailor-made. However, if you wanted just to visit Cuzco, it's a 13 hour flight from London to Lima, followed by an 80 minute domestic flight to Cuzco (overnight in Lima usually required). For an overnight in Lima, we recommend Atemporal in the chic Miraflores neighbourhood.
