Perfect for a small family, this traditional twin-coned trullo, with a 12m swimming pool and shady gardens, is very close to the in the walled market town of Cisternino. This charming villa is in the heart of Valle d’Itria World Heritage site, renowned for its conical ‘trulli’ dwellings, and well placed for a variety of historic towns and a choice of fabulous beaches.
Accommodation
Giu al Trullo has two tall cones and thick whitewashed walls that keep the house refreshingly cool. Furnished in country style, the villa has a cloakroom, a vaulted kitchen with dining table, living room and small sitting area, where colourfully cushioned seating is built into an architectural arch. The bedrooms comprise a master double bedroom (king size bed), a further double bedroom (can be made as twin) and a single bedroom with an extra pull-out bed. All share a shower room. Outside, there are two covered dining terraces, a sunny side terrace, and extensive gardens of lawns, cactus beds and floral borders, which surround the swimming pool and an adjacent dining gazebo among the olive trees.

Private swimming pool 12m x 6m (1m - 2m deep), pool towels, outdoor shower, poolside gazebo, BBQ, table tennis. Kitchen has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave. For entertainment there's wifi, cable TV, DVD player and bluetooth speaker. Villa essentials include washing machine, iron and ironing board. This wonderful stone built villa is designed to be naturally cool but the master bedroom and twin bedroom are both air-conditioned.

3km away there's a good selection of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and all amenities in Cisternino.
Cisternino has a charming old town centre that has remained virtually intact for centuries. Its whitewashed houses, narrow, shady streets, historic churches and elegant central piazza open out onto a series of panoramic view points from which visitors can take in the surrounding countryside, with its rolling hills and white-tipped conical trulli roofs piercing the green fields.
Further shops and restaurants 11km away in Martina Franca. Alberobello 20km.
Weather & Seasons
The climate in Puglia is generally warm sunny and dry in April/May and again in October with the risk of the odd shower of rain. Sometimes it can be cool in the evenings. By June the weather settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can get a bit humid. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. June and September are particularly pleasurable months.
