Villa Mamouna, Essaouira, Morocco

Fabulous 4 bedroom traditional kasbah set in large gardens close to Essaouira

7 nights exclusive villa rental from £2,450, including daily housekeeping. Flights and car hire available at an additional charge.

This lovely traditional stone villa in Essaouira is an attractive retreat for a holiday with family and friends.
The architecture of the house is much like a Moroccan kasbah but the interiors have been designed and decorated in a contemporary style. It's set i
n a one hectare (2.5 acre) gardens and boasts a very large swimming pool that's adjacent to a pool house that includes a seating area, terrace, kitchen, and a shower and WC. The property enjoys beautiful and unobstructed views of the countryside..

On the garden level, the villa comprises a lounge, a dining room, kitchen and three bedrooms. Each of these rooms are overlooking a large central and covered courtyard flooded with light. The fourth bedroom is accessible through a staircase leading to the roof terrace and is therefore relatively independent from the rest of the villa.

The villa features two very large double bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. One or two additional beds can be arranged for children (on the existing sofas) in each room. A third bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 4 has three single beds and is suitable for children. Ensuite bathroom.

Private heated swimming pool 16m x 6m, pool towels, pool house, hammam, BBQ, outdoor dining, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, DVD player, sound system for MP3 player.

Villa Rental Includes

Daily maid service, pool heating, wifi, bed and household linens. Cook service can be arranged for approx. £15 per day. Child care and baby sitting on request.

Essaouira is 12km away and nearest beach is 10km. Essaouira's main square is filled with cafes and meandering walkways lead to the souk (market). Also worth visiting is the harbour and watching the wooden fishing boats bringing in their day’s catch and the fish restaurants are highly recommended.

Weather & Seasons

Spring (March to May) is pleasantly warm and sunny, and the landscape is lush and green. Avoid August when the town gets swamped by large numbers of visitors from home and abroad. Autumn (mid Sept to mid Nov) is also lovely, but the countryside tends to look parched.
