Beautifully designed villa with large open-plan living space looking out over the 20m infinity swimming pool. Set in a peaceful countryside location, within gardens of 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres), yet just 10 minutes from the beaches and medina at Essaouira.
Accommodation
This single-storey 400 sq.m luxury villa has 3 spacious double bedrooms, all air-conditioned and with very high quality en suite shower rooms. The living room is very spacious with 130 sq.m of open-plan space, adjacent to the sleek, fully equipped kitchen - both overlooking the pool. Everywhere in the house there are large windows that let in abundant light.
Facilities
Private heated 20m x 6m swimming pool, pool towels, outdoor dining, outdoor comfy seating, sun loungers. Fully equipped kitchen. For entertainment, there's wifi, sound system, satellite TV. Villa has a cot and a high chair.
Villa Rental Includes
A housekeeper comes every day from 08.30 to 13.00 in order to take care of cleaning the house. She can cook on request. And, for a small charge, plus the costs, do your food / beverage shopping too.
The house guard cleans the pool and terraces.
Neighbourhood
Essaouira is a 10 minute drive away. It's a delightful 18th century seaside town, and the car-free Old Town is enclosed by fortified walls, with distinctive white and blue houses alongside a series of vast sandy beaches backed by sand dunes. The town’s main square is filled with cafes and meandering walkways lead to the souk (market). Also worth visiting is the harbour and watching the wooden fishing boats bringing in their day’s catch and the fish restaurants are highly recommended.
The villa is also close to Mogador Golf Course.
Weather & Seasons
Spring (March to May) is pleasantly warm and sunny, and the landscape is lush and green. Avoid August when the town gets swamped by large numbers of visitors from home and abroad. Autumn (mid Sept to mid Nov) is also lovely, but the countryside tends to look parched.
Getting Here
Most visitors arrive via Marrakech’s Menara Airport, which you can reach from various airports in the UK with British Airways and Easyjet. Direct flights from London Gatwick take 3 hours 45 minutes. The drive from Marrakech takes around 2 hours. Alternatively, there are direct flights with Royal Air Maroc from Paris Orly to Essaouira.
