Accommodation
This stone-built villa is made up of three pavilion-style buildings, each looking out to its own perspective of the sea and the mainland beyond. All are surrounded by scented herb gardens and expansive terraces, stylishly furnished for al fresco dining and lounging, and pathways lead down to two pebble beaches and a yoga platform over the water. An outstanding venue for a group of friends, Amarea’s chic interiors include a beautiful sitting room with a huge stone fireplace, and four bedrooms, the master suite enjoying a private courtyard with outdoor shower. The villa shares a tennis court and private jetty with its sister-villa and restaurants in Avlaki are within easy walking distance.
Villa Main Level: kitchen and staff prep area, sitting room, and mster double bedroom with private courtyard and shower room en suite.
Villa Pool Level: 2 Double bedrooms (one can be made up as twin) with shower room en suite opening to pool terrace; gym; double bedroom with shower room en suite opening to pool terrace.
Facilities
Private swimming pool 40m x 5m (1.4m deep), gas BBQ, shaded al fresco dining and comfy seating spaces, table tennis, boules court, shared tennis court and mooring jetty.
Kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, ice maker, nespresso machine, wine fridge. For entertainment, there's wifi throughout, 40" Sky HDTV, CD and DVD player, iPod dock. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans and hair dryers.
Villa Rental Includes
Airport transfers, welcome provisions and maid service 6 mornings per week, plus mid week linen change. Breakfast service 6 mornings (cost of food excluded), concierge service, bath and pool towels changed every other day, gardner and pool maintenance. Cook service for lunch / dinner can be arranged at a charge. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.
Neighbourhood
Two beaches below the villa, and many more a short drive or boat ride away. Walking distance (600m) to Avlaki beach, water sports and taverna. The restaurants, bars, supermarkets and nightlife of Kassiopi are 2.4km away. Shops, restaurants and bars of St Stephano (4km).
Weather & Seasons
Best from May to September, and hottest in July and August with daytime high temperatures around 30°C.
Getting Here
Corfu airport is 40km - we can arrange flights and car hire or transfers for you. Included within the villa rental cost are one transfer each way on arrival and departure day from the airport or port, providing all guests are arriving at the same time (if not, extra charges will apply).
