Meaning 'peaceful forest', romantic Amanwana is the only resort on the remote island of Moyo, a pristine nature and marine reserve off the east coast of Bali. Its 20 ultra-stylish and luxurious tents enjoy wonderful views of the crystal clear Flores Sea, a superlative hideaway for blissing out on the beach, boating, scuba diving and snorkelling in peaceful seclusion.

Amanwana has just 20 luxury air-conditioned tents with either ocean or jungle views, all set under the forest canopy. Inside, tents feature Indonesian island artwork, hardwood flooring, wooden shutters and teak-framed windows, a spacious sitting area, a king-size bed, a writing desk and a large bathroom. All have private decks.

Activities & Experiences

Snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing and hobie cat sailing are all available on a complimentary basis. For an additional charge there is scuba diving, guided nature trekking, waterfall excursions, fishing and yacht chartering. There are 10 boats to choose from, including Amanikan - a custom-built 32m teak cruiser with 3 air-conditioned cabins providing an idyllic way to explore the archipelago afloat and to get up close and personal with the legendary Komodo Dragon.

Facilities & Services

A daily menu of Indonesian and Western flavours are served in the Dining Room & Bar and the lovely team at Amanwana will also gladly arrange romantic campfire beach dinners and starlight dinner cruises.

Jungle Cove Spa is an open-air sanctuary set on the stunning beachfront, offering an extensive spa menu using all-natural products. Feel invigorated by the Honey and Sea Salt Body Scrub, or relax in a traditional Indonesian milk bath for a natural detox and amazingly soft skin.

Weather & Seasons

Indonesia has evenly consistent year-round temperatures, with two seasons. The dry season runs from May to September and the wet from October to April. While seasonally these periods differ greatly in characteristics, the actual temperature doesn't vary so much - with an average high of 29ºC to 33ºC all year round. In fact, the average low temperature fluctuates even less, as it is just 22ºC or 23ºC every month of the year..
