Four Seasons Tented Camp, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Explore the Golden Triangle from this luxury jungle camp on the Mekong River

From around £995pp per night on all-inclusive basis, including transfers

Discover the legendary Golden Triangle in northern Thailand, at the superb Four Seasons Tented Camp overlooking the Mekong River, located on the border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Reached by river boat through exotic bamboo jungles, this luxurious Golden Triangle hideaway is the epitome of tented style, with a palpable sense of adventure hanging on the tropical air.

The 15 fabulously luxurious tents  blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment and are designed as an open space with a large outdoor deck. Furnishings are handcrafted in styles reminiscent of 19th century expeditions, right down to the hand-hammered copper bathtubs. A new addition is the Explorer's Lodge, a new two bedroom lodge with a spacious deck and outdoor pool, ideal for families.

Activities & Experiences

The camp is perfect for active adults seeking once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Excursions are numerous and include mahout training with the camp’s own elephants, Mekong River trips, hill tribe visits, jungle trekking, nature walks, talks on local history and culture, bird watching, fishing, cooking classes and craft classes.

Facilities & Services

Four Seasons Tented Camp has one restaurant where guests can chose to eat together 'safari style' or dine separately. Dining experiences can change from day to day, there may be a picnic lunch set up on one day or a barbecue under the stars for dinner. There is a bar, wine cellar, two open air salas for spa treatments (each guest has one complimentary treatment) and a freeform swimming pool.
