The Two-Bedroom Suites are ideal for families as there are no connecting options at the hotel.

The Governor's Residence is perfectly positioned for visiting Yangon's attractions. Formerly Rangoon, the busy capital of Burma, there's much to enjoy, including the golden temple of the Shwedagon pagoda, the bustling Bogyoke Market, and the colonial buildings Downtown. Guests can then retreat across the wooden bridge to the sanctuary of the Governor's Residence and a restorative dip in the pool.

The best time to visit Burma is during the dry season from November to April. May to September is the rainy season.

Getting Here

It's a one hour flight from Bangkok to Yangon (or 90 minutes from Mandalay to Yangon), followed by a 30 minute transfer

to Governor's Residence.
