Villa Inle Resort & Spa, Inle Lake, Burma

Beautiful, peaceful hideaway on the eastern shore of majestic Inle Lake

Only available as part of a tailor-made tour of magical Myanmar

Set in 20 acres of private grounds, Villa Inle Resort & Spa has a stunning lakeside location with a selection of villas that cleverly blend in with the environment. Beautifully appointed with hand-selected local paintings and antiques, the villas have spacious living areas and bathrooms. Villa Inle Resort & Spa is a place from which to explore mystical Inle Lake.

Accommodation

Each individual villa features a living area, bathroom and private balcony. Rooms are furnished with local paintings and antiques and enjoy high ceilings, an abundance of natural light and teakwood interiors. They have an in-room safe, satellite TV, stocked mini bar, hair dryer, air conditioning and free WiFi.

Activities & Experiences

Your time here is all about experiencing Inle Lake, an enormous yet quiet body of water surrounded by floating gardens, stilt-house villages and Buddhist temples as well as a thriving cottage industry employing hundreds of artisans. In-land, we recommend the full-day tour to Kakku, tucked away in the Shan mountains - one of the most amazing sights in Burma; a complex made up of a staggering 2500 historic stupas.

Facilities & Services

The hotel has a bar and restaurant serving a selection of cuisines, including Shan, Myanmar, Inthar and Western, with the vegetable garden providing much of the produce.

The spa is the perfect place after a day of sightseeing, with four treatment rooms and qualified therapists ready to relax and rejuvenate you.

Weather & Seasons

The best time to visit Burma is during the dry season from November to April as the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March and the rainy season from May to September is best avoided.

Getting Here

Villa Inle Resort & Spa is just under an hour drive from Heho airport, followed by a 20 minute boat ride.
