Can Simoneta, Mallorca

Gorgeous adult only boutique hotel on the island's north east coast

5 nights from around £850pp sharing on bed and breakfast basis, including flights and transfers

Can Simoneta is a charming, romantic 5 star boutique hotel on Mallorca's north east coast, for adults only.  Set in a lovely position on a cliff overlooking the remarkably turquoise Mediterranean, to which it has direct access, Can Simoneta is ideal for a long weekend, or longer. The expansive gardens, two swimming pools, glorious views, spa treatments, luxury accommodation and delicious cuisine all combine to ensure a wonderful stay.

Accommodation

There are just 18 rooms here, 5 of which are suites. All are light, airy and spacious and we definitely recommend booking a room with sea views and, if budget allows, private terraces too.  The property is split in two halves with most bedrooms in the main house on the clifftop, but a few more slightly more rustic in tone down in the Beach House.

Activities & Experiences

If you want to do more than just relax by the pool and soak up the sunshine, there's plenty to keep you active and entertained nearby. There are four courses in the area, whilst nearby water sports include water skiing, fishing, kite boarding, wake boarding and wind surfing. Hiking or mountain biking are popular, especially outside high season. There is a tennis club nearby, and also stables. Canyamel beach is a short walk across the finca’s land and across the rocks but the legendary and virtually unknown Cala Torta beach is definitely worth a visit. For variety, there are several good restaurants in the neighbourhood, including Michelin-starred Ses Rotges on Cala Ratjada.

Facilities & Services

If you're feeling restless and want to get out and explore, the team Can Simoneta are very good at organising all sorts of excursions (on land and a sea). Otherwise, relax in a clifftop Jacuzzi, enjoy a spa treatment or hit the fitness studio for a workout.

Weather & Seasons

Mallorca is a year-round destination and probably best in late Spring and early Autumn. During the summer (June through to September) there's very little rain and daytime temperatures average around 27°C, and it gets a few degrees warmer in July and August. In October and November the temperatures are around 23°C mark and you can still swim in the sea. The winter is extremely mild, with daily highs of around 15°C. In Spring, temperatures climb up into the low twenties and the hours of sunshine approach double figures again.

Getting Here

Palma airport is 70km away and, if you're staying for more than a couple of days, we recommend hiring a car so you can explore the island.
