At the hotel the focus is on relaxation, with beautiful pools, scenery and rejuvenating spa treatments. Early risers can visit a local fish market or visit a 200 year old spice plantation to learn about the different flavours of the region, whilst back at the hotel the hotel the chef can show you how to cook a delicious local dish, or you can have your fish from the market served to you that evening for dinner. Alternatively, visit the nearby village of Cuelim to enjoy a meal on a hilltop beside the striking Three Kings Chapel.

The best time to visit Goa is between late October and early April. Peak season is from mid-December to mid-January, when the weather is near perfect, with daytime temperatures rarely going beyond 32°C.

12 hour 30 minute international flight via Mumbai to Goa's Dabolim Airport and then a 25 minute road transfer to Alila Diwa.
