Aman Sveti Stefan, Montenegro

More like a perfectly restored luxury village enclave than a hotel, plus a former royal beach retreat

5 nights from £1,795pp sharing a Double Room, including daily breakfast and transfers
Flights available at an additional charge

Set on a tiny island at the end of an isthmus in the Adriatic Sea, Aman Sveti Stefan hotel occupies a converted 15th century fishing village and a former royal retreat, on a beautiful beach: Villa Milocer. Come and enjoy super-luxurious accommodation, 2 outdoor swimming pools, 3 beaches (one totally private), spa and indoor pool, yoga, pilates, fine dining, and guided excursions to the old towns of Budva and Cetinje and the beautifully-preserved baroque city of Perast, discovering the peaceful Skadar Lake and

exploring the Bay of Kotor, a World Heritage Site.

Accommodation

Aman Sveti Stefan offers a total of 58 guest accommodations with 50 rooms, cottages and suites on the island and eight suites at Villa Milocer. Accommodation on the island is split between Village Rooms, Cottages, Deluxe Cottages, Grand Suites and the Sveti Stefan Suite

which has its own private swimming pool.

Activities & Experiences

Montenegro is a land of rugged snow-capped mountains, ancient forests and pristine lakes, and its meandering coast is home to a series of ancient towns and natural wonders. Just north of Aman Sveti Stefan, the town of Budva is two millennia old. Farther up the coast Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, combines some of the region’s best-preserved architecture with exceptional beauty. Guests can request a number of additional activities during their stay, such as Boka Bay cruises, sunset cruises, village tours, trips to

national parks and lake sightseeing.

Facilities & Services

There is no shortage of dining options here, with a few sprinkled around the island's central village piazza: a Taverna, Enoteca, a Pasticceria (bakery) and an Antipasti Bar. There are four more Aman restaurants located on the main-land - accessed by the isthmus - including Queen's Chair with incredible views of the Bay of Budva from its rocky precipice.

Adjacent to Villa Milocer, the Aman Spa is housed in a handsome stone building overlooking the beach, featuring four double treatment rooms, three hydrotherapy suites, indoor pool, a gym and studios for yoga and Pilates. Additional spa cottages are located on the island. The spa menu concentrates on holistic treatments, mixing herbs and plants into soothing and totally natural lotions.

Weather & Seasons

The coastal regions of Montenegro enjoy a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, sunny winters. The coast is at its best in May, June and September. July and August are, predictably, the hottest months when temperatures can hit 35°C.

Getting Here

Flying time from UK to Tivat is 2 hours and 30 minutes, followed by a 35 minute transfer. Sveti Stefan Island is closed from October to May, but Villa Milocer on the mainland remains open.
