Amanruya, Bodrum, Turkey
Exquisite boutique hotel on the Bodrum Peninsula with a private beach club
5 nights from £1,890pp sharing a Garden View Pool Pavilion, including breakfast and transfers. Flights available on request.
Amanruya is a tranquil boutique hideaway on beautiful Mandalya Bay, on the north coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. Inspired by the region's traditional architecture and combining Mediterranean and Ottoman design elements, a series of courtyards and terraces on the hillside gives a village feel while still retaining a sense of space. This luxury enclave looks out over the Aegean Sea and has a private beach club on the protected bay. Each exquisite stone-clad guest pavilion has a private garden with a pool and pergola.
Accommodation
Amanruya has just 34 spacious and elegant Pool Terrace Pavilions, each with a private garden and pool. A cool air of sophisticated calm prevails. Each of the 75 sq.m pavilions feature a four-poster bed, two sofas, a dining table, a writing desk, a traditional Turkish mangal charcoal fireplace, a separate vanity area and clothes closet and a large, naturally-lit open bathroom. In addition, all pavilions have their own spacious garden (with pergolas shading large cushioned daybeds) and a private grey-green marble swimming pool, with a pair sun loungers.
Activities & Experiences
Those who enjoy an active holiday can make use of the tennis court, gym, fifty-foot-long infinity-edge swimming pool and selection of water sports available at the hotel’s Beach Club (along with an array of activities in the local area, such as horse-riding, mountain-biking, hiking and golfing). Otherwise, for those who prefer a more laid back holiday experience, there are pampering treatments available at the spa and a yoga pavilion. A number of excursions can be arranged including the ancient ruined cities of Didyma, Miletus, Priene and Ephesus. The village of Etrim is an absolute must to visit and is only a short drive from Bodrum.
Facilities & Services
There are three Dining Pavilions serving Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. Each venue enjoys a different setting and sea views. Home-baked bread and informal Meze platters make for superb in-suite dining or picnic options. There's also casual dining for lunch at the Beach Club.
Weather & Seasons
March to May and September to November have mild to warm days and cool nights. The summer months from June through August provide warm to hot days and pleasant evenings.
