All rooms and suites at Bahía del Duque are light and fresh, with Venetian and Moroccan-influences and ochre and sienna tones. All have air-conditioning, a safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, telephone, television, complimentary wi-fi internet connection, iPod docking station and a twice daily maid service. The resort also offers one and two-bedroom villas.

Activities & Experiences

There is so much for everyone to enjoy here, whatever their age. Relax on the beach or beside a pool, workout or play squash, enjoy yoga or pilates, be pampered in the spa, go scuba diving, enjoy motorised and non-motorised water sports, take a boat excursion or play some tennis. The hotel provides three or four complimentary daily health and fitness classes, such as spinning, stretching, step, cross-fit and zumba.

As for dining, Bahía del Duque offers an extraordinary variety in its seven restaurants, where you can enjoy exquisite International, Italian, Basque and of course Canarian cuisine. La Brasserie by Pierre Résimont is particularly impressive, with the 2 starred Michelin chef bringing French flair to the Canary Islands.

Families

Ideal for families, the hotel hosts a great variety of activities, offering dedicated menus in the bars and restaurants, plus Family Suites and interconnecting rooms. The Mini Club, with children's playground, provides activities for 3 to 12-year-olds, while the Teenagers' Lounge features a Wii, PlayStation and internet access. A babysitting service is also available on request at an extra charge.

Spread across three indoor and outdoor levels, the tranquil Bahía del Duque Spa offers a range of delightful treatments and wellness programmes in partnership with LÓccitane, an open-air Thalassotherapy circuit (unique in Tenerife) and the Garden Café. In addition, there's a relaxation area that offers a choice of additional massages and treatments influenced by yoga, Ayurveda, Jamu (a tradition from Indonesia), Thai massage and other age-old techniques from Southeast Asia.

Weather & Seasons

Tenerife has a mild year-round climate with little or no humidity, and very little rain. Temperatures are cooler from December to March and average 21°C. In May, June and September it's around 25°C, rising to around 30°C in July and August.
