Facilities & Services

Chiawa Camp is renowned for its outstanding cuisine, often described as an Afro/Euro fusion. The imaginative chefs ensure meals are of the highest standard and that they are prepared with the freshest of ingredients. Meals are served on the al fresco dining terrace and post dinner nightcaps are served around the campfire - all overlooking the Zambezi.

Weather & Seasons

Zambia has a moderate to sub-tropical climate with three distinct seasons: the rainy season from November to March (known as the Emerald season); winter is from April to July when the weather is cool and dry, and August to October is summer, when the weather is hot and dry. In terms of game-viewing, the drier months, meaning a higher concentration of game at the permanent water sources, are a superb time to visit. Alternatively come for some superb bird-watching at the end of the rains.
