Day 1: UK to Johannesburg
Overnight flight from the UK to Jo'burg maximises your time for your Botswana holiday.
Day 2: Johannesburg to Livingstone
Connect for the short hop from Jo'burg to Livingstone. Your African adventure begins with a 2 night stay at the luxurious Sindabezi Island Camp in the middle of the Zambezi. In the evening, embark on a sunset river cruise keeping an eye out for wildlife including elephant, who come to the riverbanks to drink. Upstream from the Victoria Falls, Sindabezi is a private island paradise with superb views over the surrounding river and plenty of activities on offer. The unique design of the five tented and thatched cottages allows close-up encounters with all the sights and sounds of the river and the creatures who live in and around it. Images below.

Day 3: Victoria Falls
Wake up on the island and, after breakfast, it’s off to the 'Smoke that Thunders' to see the magnificent Victoria Falls. Relax this afternoon, enjoy a spa treatment by the Zambezi, try some fishing or visit a local school. Dinner tonight will be served under the African stars. Overnight at Sindabezi Island Camp

Day 4: Zambezi to Chobe National Park
This morning, you’ll cross the border into Botswana where your safari adventure begins. Chobe National Park bursts with wildlife, much of which centres on the life-giving waters of its river. You’ll be in prime position from your base at luxury Chobe Chilwero lodge (images below) with its commanding views of the Chobe River and the surrounding plains. From here you can watch the sun set over the teeming flood plains and the miles of wilderness beyond.

Day 5: Chobe
Today starts with a sunrise safari to experience the animals coming to life. Around 50,000 elephant roam here, alongside buffalo and plenty of other creatures too. After a late morning rest beside the swimming pool, a mid-afternoon boat cruise awaits you. Sip a sundowner as you float down the river amid crocodile, hippo and a striking array of birdlife. Day 6: Chobe to the Okavango Delta
A short air transfer today will take you into the Okavango Delta, close to Moremi. Here, walking safaris enable close encounters with the bush at its best. You will stay at Stanley's Camp for two nights, one of the Okavango's more intimate camps with just 8 luxury classic safari tents and experience the best of Africa's wildlife and the highest standards of service and accommodation.

Day 7: Okavango Delta
From the comfort of your tent, you’ll awake to the sounds of the Delta. Game drives, mokoro canoe trips and walking safaris with buffalo, giraffe and lion lie ahead. And you can also take the opportunity to walk with a couple of semi-habituated elephant, and gain unprecedented insight into these African giants from your expert guides. Overnight at Stanley's Camp
Day 8: Moremi Game Reserve
Today we fly you deeper into the heart of the Okavango to the Moremi Game Reserve. Known as the 'predator capital of Africa’, it's a magical patchwork of lagoons, flooded pans and sweeping grasslands. The finest game-viewing spot is Chief's Island, and your home for 3 nights here will be the exclusive Sanctuary Chief's Camp, a collection of 12 luxury private pavilions on raised wooden platforms.

Days 9 & 10: Moremi Game Reserve
Raised above the surrounding wilderness, Sanctuary Chief's Camp is perfect base for land and water forays into the Moremi. You’ll see abundant wildlife, including rarer species such as cheetah, leopard and even wild dog. Day 11: Moremi to Maun to UK
Sadly, all good things must come to an end but on the short flight to Maun you’ll be able to gaze down at the Delta dreamscape for one last time. From here, a flight to Jo'burg will connect with your overnight flight back to the UK.
