Desert Nights Camp has 30 Bedouin style en-suite air-conditioned tents, spread over 10 acres. Bedrooms feature queen size or twin beds and the en-suite bathrooms are fully equipped with hot water showers. All tents open have a cosy sit-out space with panoramic views of the golden Sharqiya Sands. The fragrance of frankincense and myrrh transport you back in time to the medieval world.

Apart from enjoying a serene desert experience - just by being there - activities include dune bashing, quad biking and camel rides to explore the desert. You can also explore the crystal clear night sky with the camp's telescope.

Dunes Restaurant serves authentic Arabic cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has been elegantly furnished with traditional Omani wooden furniture and you can choose to eat inside or out. A private à la carte menu or a BBQ can be organised at a location of your choice for a memorable dinner under the stars. The Oasis Bar serves a wide selection of fine wines, cocktails, and fresh juices. 

The best time to visit Oman is between November and mid-March. For the rest of the year, much of Oman is oppressively hot and hazy, particularly between May and August.
