7 nights from around £2,500pp sharing a Pool Villa, including breakfast, flights and airport transfers

A world away from the bling and bustle of much of the Gulf, Six Senses Zighy Bay is a peaceful oasis set on an enormous sandy beach, beautifully blending traditional rustic Omani architecture with contemporary ingredients, and an appreciation of the local surroundings. This is a luxury resort like no other in the region.

Accommodation

Six Senses Zighy Bay has 82 generously proportioned luxury villas designed and furnished to reflect the character of a local Omani village using natural stone and warm woods. All villas provide an oasis of privacy and tranquillity and include a private infinity-edge pool. Every bathroom features an oversized indoor bathtub and outdoor shower.

All villas have a private sun lounge and outdoor dining area, individually controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fans, private wine cellar,

personal safe, hairdryer and espresso machine, IDD telephone, wireless internet and cordless phone,

CD and DVD Home Integrated Theatre System and a flat screen satellite TV.

Activities & Experiences

On-site activities at the hotel include swimming (there are 2 pools, one of which is salt water), tennis, fitness training, yoga, wellness programmes, spa treatments and water sports (such as snorkelling, diving, kayaking, water skiing and wake boarding). Activities off-site include mountain trekking and biking, guided off-road excursions, and tandem paragliding.

Six Senses has its own custom-built 27.5m luxury Omani dhow (with 3 spacious cabins) available for private charter and the chance to explore

the Gulf and the magnificent Musandam fjords for a night or two.

Spa & Wellness

Six Senses Zighy Bay has a selection of wellness programmes, including 'Integrated Wellness', yogic detox, and holistic health and fitness. Those just interested in spa treatments and therapies will be very happy too and can choose from a fabulous range of pampering spa treatments, such as body rituals, facials, massages, acupuncture and tailored packages dedicated to beauty, energy and romance. The spa is open daily and has a resident Wellness Manager and Yogic Expert.

Families

Six Senses Zighy Bay warmly welcomes families with children of all ages. For those from 4 to 10 years, there's Chaica's Club to keep them entertained with activities in and around the resort, including treasure hunts, watersports, cookie-making and water polo. Older children up to the age of 18 years, meanwhile, can head to Al Feetean's Teen Club to participate in activities such as abseiling, cookery classes, adventure hikes, kayaking, mountain-biking, snorkelling and yoga. Cinema Paradiso, the alfresco cinema located on the beach, is perfect for a family evening watching a movie and munching on an array of flavoured popcorn, ice-creams and refreshing cold drinks.

Dining

Guests have a wonderful choice of dining options at Zighy Bay, from a mountain-top restaurant serving international cuisine and spectacular views to in-villa dining which your butler will be pleased to arrange. Guests can enjoy breakfast either in the Spice Market Restaurant or in the comfort of their own villa. Dinner can be enjoyed in the a la carte Summer House, Spice Market or Zighy Bar restaurants. And there's also a choice of romantic 'destination dining' options.
