Facilities & Services

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas has two swimming pools (one for children), a kids club, a spa, fitness studio, and two restaurants. Ipê Grill serves a delicious buffet breakfast and, in the evening, a barbecue offering a variety of tender meats and tasty side dishes. Itaipu is a fine dining restaurant serving a mix of Brazilian-international fusion dishes.

Treatments at the Cataratas Spa's utilise an array of responsibly-harvested, sustainable ingredients from Brazil's rainforests - tropical fruits, moisturising butters and organic plant extracts provide nourishment and replenishment to body and soul.

The high season is in January, February and Easter when most Brazilians (and Argentines) are on holiday and the Falls are unusually busy. May and July are rainy months and the volume of the waters is at its maximum.
