Mauricia is set in a tranquil location on the north west coast, yet is a short walk along the beach to the centre of the bustling village of Grand Baie. This gives guests the very best of both worlds, as you can make the most of the excellent facilities offered by Mauricia or get out and enjoy the shops, nightlife and restaurants found in Grand Baie.

Accommodation

All of the 236 spacious ensuite rooms face the sea, except the superb Family Apartments which are located in a ‘family village’ area within the gardens. There's also a fabulous 2 bedroom private villa and, for honeymooners, there’s a choice of three honeymoon suites - each with their own plunge pool.

Activities & Experiences

Paradis With a choice of swimming pools, a gorgeous beach, a pampering spa and a comprehensive selection of complimentary land and water sports, there's much for everyone to enjoy at Mauricia. Mountain bikes are available to hire if you want to get out and about and explore. A PADI affiliated Dive Centre with a comprehensive diving programme is available and there are a number of decent dive sites within 20 minutes boat ride. There's even deep sea fishing on offer too! 

Facilities & Services

The resort comes with a huge range of complimentary land and water sports. And a lovely spa for memorable pampering sessions.

There are two restaurants: Les Quais overlooks one of the magnificent pools. Serves breakfast and lunch and themed buffets in the evening, including live cooking stations. Whilst Le Nautic is a charming seafood restaurant featuring two split-level terraces which face the sea towards the setting sun. A wonderful place for lunch or dinner.

Weather & Seasons

Mauritius has a tropical climate with year-round heat, refreshed by coastal breeze. The summer months are from December to April, when it can nevertheless be extremely humid, and the winter, such as it is, runs from May to November, and is cooler and drier.

Getting Here

12 hour international flight from London to Mauritius, followed by a 60 minute private transfer.
