Accommodation

Trou aux Biches has 300 extremely spacious suites, all with balconies or terraces. These are cleverly laid out in crescents throughout a shady palm grove - and each crescent has its own pool. There are five categories of suite to choose from - junior, tropical junior, family, beachfront and beachfront senior - many with their own private pools. The spacious, ultra-private two and three bedroom pool villas are perfect for families. 

Activities & Experiences

Trou Aux Biches has one of the longest and best beaches on the island making it ideal for a host of water sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, pedal boats, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding and glass bottom boats.

On land, the resort has 6 floodlit tennis courts and a Tennis Academy. Other sports include table tennis, beach volleyball, bocciball and mountain biking. The resort features a fully equipped gym offering classes including spinning and aerobics.

Families

Children aged from 3 to 12 years old will love the dedicated facilities on offer at the Kids' Club. Fun activities include hand painting, sailing, small-line fishing, snorkeling, tennis and waterskiing, offered on an age-appropriate basis and of course expertly supervised by fully qualified staff. The Kids' Club is kitted out with the latest in entertainment, including DVD, TV and CD player, a stash of fun indoor games and an extensive outdoor playground. It even has its own restaurant. There is also a Teens' Club for older children and

babysitting is available to cater for all family requirements. 

Spa & Restaurants

Individual thatched spa pavilions are set amongst the lush gardens in a peaceful, relaxed sanctuary. Choose from cool comfortable air-conditioned indoor pavilions or thatched open-sided outdoor pavilions. A large reflective pool forms the centre of the spa and provides the perfect place to relax before or after your treatment. The Spa facilities are extensive, with two saunas, two hammams, seven massage cabins, a balneotherapy room, two Vichy shower rooms, a yoga pavilion, pool and a beauty parlour.

Trou aux Biches has six restaurants - L'Oasis, La Caravelle, Le Deck, Blue Ginger, Mahiya and Il Corallo - where guests can savour a world of flavours sourced from the far end of Asia to the shores of the Mediterranean sea.

Weather & Seasons

Mauritius has a tropical climate with year-round heat, refreshed by coastal breeze. The summer months are from December to April, when it can nevertheless be extremely humid, and the winter, such as it is, runs from May to November, and is cooler and drier. The best months to visit Mauritius are May to early December and, with its north west location, Trou aux Biches is an excellent summer holiday destination.

Getting Here

It's a 12 hour international direct flight from London to Mauritius, followed by a one hour private transfer.
