Weather & Seasons
Chengdu weather is mild and humid all year round, featuring four distinct seasons – long and warm spring, short and sultry summer, cool and rainy autumn, cold and foggy winter. We recommend that the best time to visit is from March to May and from September to November.
Getting Here
Flying time from Xian or Guilin to Chengdu is 90 minutes, from Shanghai or Beijing it's 3 hours 15 minutes, and from Hong Kong it's 2 hours 30 minutes. From Chengdu airport to the Ritz-Carlton it's a 30 minute transfer by car.
