Banyan Tree Seychelles

Luxurious and romantic 5* all-villa resort set on one of the world's most beautiful beaches

7 nights from £2,600pp (low season) sharing a Hillside Pool Villa on bed and breakfast basis, with flights and transfers

With spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, Banyan Tree Seychelles is a fabulous 5* resort that's perfect for a honeymoon or romantic break. The resort spans 300 acres on the island's south western coastline with a fabulous beach frontage of 800m overlooking what has been described as one of the

10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

Accommodation

22 Ocean View Pool Villas have large bedrooms, a sunken bath and an outside pavilion with living and dining area that leads onto a sundeck with private pool. Four Intendance Bay View Pool Villas and five Sanctuary Ocean View Pool Villas also feature a jet pool, the latter with amazing views of the ocean below. Our favourite for romantic couples are the Beachfront Pool Villas. Each of these has a shower/steam room, larger swimming pool, massage pavilion and outdoor jet pool and shower. But best of all, they also have direct access to the beach.

Activities & Experiences

There are dozens of fantastic islands to be discovered and explored, UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Vallée de Mai, home to the legendary coco-de-mer double nut, and extraordinary bird and tortoise colonies. Guests can take an island hopping excursion or uncover the secrets of Mahe on a sightseeing trip. Guests can also relax at the resort's infinity pool, enjoy some yoga, work out at the gym, play tennis on the resort's newly resurfaced court, or be pampered at the lavish spa and beauty salon. Water sport facilities are available subject to season and sea conditions. Intendance Bay can be rough thus limiting possibilities for water sports and swimming (particularly between May and Oct).

Facilities

Guests can choose from three restaurants, or opt for in-villa dining. There are also a variety of private dining options including the moonlight gazebo and an intimate beach barbecue (reservations required 24 hours in advance).

The resort offers an infinity pool, helipad, hillside spa, gym, beauty salon, boutique, library and newly resurfaced tennis court.

Weather & Seasons

As the Seychelles are close to the equator, it's a good year round destination with year-round temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C. From May to October a trade wind tends to bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes, whilst from November to March the monsoon winds blow, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months with short sharp bursts of rain.

Getting Here

BA flies direct (10 hours) from Heathrow to Mahé from March to October, otherwise it's a 12 hour 30 minute flight with one change. From Mahé it's a 30 minute road transfer to Banyan Tree.
