Weather & Seasons

Best time to visit is October to December and February to May. There are a number of festivals celebrated in Bhutan, in particular Tshechu, which takes place during late summer and autumn with Thimphu Tshechu being the most popular. 

Getting Here

11 hour 30 minute flight via Delhi or Bangkok to Paro Airport. You will be met at the airport by your designated Guest Experience Maker and driven to the lodge. But, if your itinerary starts at Six Senses Thimphu, the road from Thimphu to Punakha winds and climbs through stunning scenery, rising to Dochu La Pass with its wonderful vistas.
