Nestled deep within the 130 million year old forest, theTaman Negara Resort is only accessible by longboat along the Tembeling and Tahan Rivers as the delicate sounds of nature echo around you.
The kampong-style wooden chalets are inspired by traditional Malaysian architecture and afford a simple but comfortable stay, with all of the eco-friendly chalets offering views of either the jungle or the Tembeling River for a true rainforest experience.

The resort runs a variety of complimentary group excursions on land and water (private excursions available at an additional charge) that include night walks in the jungle, slow treks through the riverine, lowland and mixed dipterocarp forest to reach Teresek hill (about 1,130 feet above sea level).
